This is not a formality. Loud points at early, thinly traded tokens on a young chain — the category with the highest chance of going to zero. Read this before you trade, not after.
Attention is a signal, not a prediction
A high attention score means more distinct people are posting about a token right now. That is all it means. It is not a forecast, not a recommendation, and it does not distinguish genuine interest from a coordinated push — a paid campaign and an organic story look similar from the outside, and sometimes the loudest moment is the exit, not the entry.
Most of these tokens go to zero
Memecoins have no cash flows, no assets and no floor. Nothing obliges anyone to buy one back from you at any price. Assume any position can go to zero, and size it so that outcome does not matter to you.
Thin liquidity cuts both ways
A pool with modest depth can be entered easily and exited badly. Selling into thin liquidity moves the price against you, and in a fast market the exit you assumed is available may not be. The token page shows measured liquidity for exactly this reason — a low number is a real warning, not a footnote.
Transactions can fail, and failure costs gas
A swap is quoted, then signed, then mined — and prices move in between. If the fill would land below your minimum received, the transaction reverts. Nothing is swapped, but the gas is spent. Tight slippage causes more reverts; loose slippage permits worse fills. Neither setting is free.
Our data can be wrong or late
Scores come from scraped posts and market data from a third party. Scrapes can miss a window, upstream data can lag or be unavailable, and a token can move hard between refreshes. Numbers on this site are best-effort and are not a guarantee of anything — always confirm on-chain before acting on them.
You are responsible for your wallet
Loud is non-custodial. We never hold your funds and cannot move, freeze or recover them. If you lose your seed phrase, approve a malicious contract elsewhere, or send funds to the wrong address, there is nothing we can do — and neither can anyone else.
Verify contract addresses
Anyone can deploy a token with any name or ticker. The contract address is the only thing that identifies a specific token. Check it character by character, from a source you trust, before you buy.
