Fees

One fee. Charged once. Shown before you sign.

Loud takes 1% of each swap routed through the app. There is no subscription, no deposit or withdrawal fee, and nothing charged for looking at the board.

1%
Loud platform fee
On the amount you trade, taken during the swap. 50% of it buys back and burns $LOUD.
~
Router fee
LI.FI charges a small fixed fee per swap. Not ours, and included in the quote you see.
gas
Network fee
Paid in ETH to Robinhood Chain, not to us. Usually a fraction of a cent on this chain.

What you see before you sign

Every quote shows the rate, the platform fee in dollars, and the minimum received — the floor below which the trade reverts rather than filling at a worse price. Your wallet then shows the gas estimate. Nothing is added after that screen.

Slippage

Slippage is not a fee. It is how much price movement you are willing to accept between building a transaction and it landing on-chain. Set too tight, trades revert and you lose the gas; set too loose, you can fill at a materially worse price.

The default is 3.0%, chosen because swaps here often route through more than one pool and the platform fee is collected as its own on-chain step before the swap. You can change it on Settings, up to a hard cap of 20%.

Where the fee goes

LI.FI collects it and pays it to our treasury wallet, which is published in full on the $LOUD page. 50% is spent buying $LOUD on the open market and burning it; the remaining 50% pays for the scrapers, the RPC and the hosting behind the board.

If fee collection is ever misconfigured on our side, the swap still goes through — it simply earns us nothing. We would rather lose the fee than block your trade, and the app never books revenue it did not actually receive.
